Michael K. Williams (HBO "The Wire")
But no one ever showed you how to break in.
You’ve got the fire, the talent, the dream. But the industry feels like a locked room—with no key, no map, and no one who looks like you holding the door. That’s not your fault.
Most aspiring actors are told to “pay their dues” with background work, free gigs, and years of hustle. But here’s the truth:Yo u don’t need to shrink to succeed. You need a system—and a space that gets you.
With over 30 years in film, TV, and theater, I teach what most coaches won’t. Real techniques.Real confidence. Real insider knowledge
As they relate to Wendyś unique, proprietary approach and the Chubbuck Technique.
It's what acting class should be: FUN, EASY, and EMPOWERING!
My journey in entertainment began as a fashion model and dancer, but my ability to identify talent soon led me into casting.
After assisting a casting director on a video shoot, I began freelancing, notably working with Tracy Moore on "New Jersey Drive" and helping introduce Christopher Wallace, "Notorious B.I.G." Later, with mentor Tracy "Twinkie" Byrd, I cast iconic music videos for Jennifer Lopez, Mariah Carey, and Lauryn Hill, among others.
Striking out independently, I regularly facilitated casting for MTV On-Air Promos and major ad campaigns. My career highlight arrived as the lead New York Casting Director for Fox Searchlight's "Notorious."
I'm proud to have discovered and brought Jamal "Gravy" Woolard to the role of Biggie. During this period, I also contributed to "Secret Life of Bees" and the Oscar-nominated "The Blind Side," where I successfully introduced Quinton Aaron as Michael Oher.
Our Approach Is Simple – We help you to learn the craft, navigate the ins-and-outs of the industry, prepare for the audition… and get out of your own way to unlock your inner artist!

The year was 2011 and my show One Life to Live got canceled and I didn’t have any money saved. One of my mentors @wendyactingcoach told me to live below my means moving forward. This was a piece of advice I never forgot because I lived by it ever since.
